Foard City Wind Project

The Foard City Wind Project is located in Foard County, Texas. This project is part of a pilot that ETT has initiated to engage outside Engineering, Procurement and Construction (“EPC”) resources in an effort to expedite the execution of generation interconnection projects. On September 20, 2018, the Public Utility Commission of Texas (“PUCT”) issued a final order approving this project in less than four months after ETT filed an amendment to ETT’s Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (“CCN”) to design and construct a new 345kV transmission line in Foard County, Texas to interconnect the 350MW Foard City Wind Farm facilities. The new transmission line was constructed as a 2.7-mile double circuit capable (single circuit installed) 345kV transmission line starting from the existing ETT Edith Clarke 345kV substation to the Foard City collector station. On June 26, 2019, the project was placed in-service.
