The Hidalgo Wind project is located in Hidalgo County, Texas on ETT's Del Sol to North Edinburg 345kV transmission line. The project involved construction of the new Pomelo 345kV switching station which interconnects a 250MW wind farm located in Hidalgo and Starr Counties, Texas. On August 25, 2017 the Pomelo station was placed in-service.
