The Lantana 69kV station project is located in Nueces County, Texas on ETT's Highway 9 to Valero East 69kV transmission line. The project involves construction of the 69kV (built to 138kV standard) through-path of the new AEP Texas Lantana distribution station, including station dead ends, a 138kV switch and associated bus work, and the transmission line modifications required for the cut-in of the Lantana station. On February 1, 2016, the station was placed in-service.
