Golden Spread Electric Cooperative has requested an interconnect to serve 3.5 MW of load on the Abilene South to Steamboat 69 kV line. In anticipation of future line upgrades, the Scout line tap will be designed for 138 kV and operated at 69 kV. The project is currently anticipated to be in-service in October of 2021.
